Summary: "All humans, regardless of nationality, sex ethnic origin , color, religion, language, or any other status, are free and equal in dignity and rights. They are equipped with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. Dignity and value are innate to each member of the society. Human rights range from the most basic "the right to life" to those that make life worth living, such as the rights to food, education, work, health, and liberty. The blatant disregard and contempt for human rights have resulted in barbarous acts in history of humanity, which have outraged the conscience of mankind; hence the highest aspiration of the common people according to the preamble of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948)is the advent of a world in which human beings shall enjoy freedom from fear and want. One simple way of acknowledging the fundamental worth of each individual by recognizing and respecting their human rights."
