Library Guidelines

1.     ENTRY AND DEPARTURE 

ENTRY

§  Library patrons are required to fill in the name, program and purpose in the Logbook upon entry to the library.
§  Students school ID must be worn within the library premises and presented in all transactions in the library.
§  The librarian or any member of the staff has the right to request any person within the premises of the library to present his/her ID for any violation of the student/faculty patron.

DEPARTURE

§  Upon leaving the library, student/faculty patron should make sure that they leave behind any materials that has not been borrowed properly.
§  Unauthorized taking out of any library materials is a violation of library’s rules and regulations.

 

2.     BORROWING 

Only students, faculty, administrators, staff and alumni of Northern Quezon College, Inc. may use the library upon presentation of a valid identification card. Researchers from other institutions are welcome provided they have appropriate referral letters and proper identification. 

Only books from the Circulation and Filipiniana section may be borrowed for home use. 

Other materials like the Reference, Periodicals, Special Collections, CD-ROMS, Multimedia and Audio-Visual Materials may only be used within the library premises. 

Special collections such as college papers, research and thesis are not allowed to photocopy

*Faculty members may borrow book/s for the whole semester. Part-time faculty may borrow book/s that shall be returned prior to the end of term.

 

3.     REMOTE ACCESS

Password for remote access to online sources of NQCI Library is issued only to currently enrolled students, faculty members, administrators and staff of Northern Quezon College, Inc.

Patrons using online sources must not give away their IDs and passwords to other individuals.

A patron who violates the guidelines shall be subject to disciplinary action.
 

4.     BEHAVIOR

Library patrons are reminded to observe silence and orderliness at all times.
The librarian and staff are authorized to impose penalties upon misbehavior inside the library.
