"The study of human rights aims to protect the "dignity" and "worth" of every natural person. But the whole gamut of existing human rights is not a panacea of all possible human rights issues and concerns. Ideally, the State is the guarantor of human rights. But the state is also the target of human rights law. Thus, there is an imperative nee to disseminate advocacy of human rights to trace the borders of human rights laws and its corresponding violations. Human rights may be as basic as the right to human life. However, the language employed by our human rights crafters employed a language and rhetoric that instead of a neutral and universal language, the phraseology adopted conceals more than it reveals." --
